Use:
From the factory, there may be an insulating cap on the battery inside the torch. Remove it from the battery before first use.
On/off and switching output modes - to switch on or off, press and hold the side button for about 0.5 seconds. You can switch output modes at any time during operation by pressing the side button. Strobe can be activated by holding the button for 1.2 seconds; SOS is then activated by pressing the button again.
Lock/unlock- to lock the torch, quickly press the button twice (the torch must be switched off). The torch will then flash twice in low mode and cannot be switched on. Unlock by quickly double-pressing the button again. Unwanted activation can also be prevented by loosening the tailcap.
Last output mode memory - the torch automatically remembers the 3 lower steady-output modes (30, 100 and 600 lumens). If you switch the torch on directly into flashing mode (by holding the button), Strobe is always activated.
Battery replacement - unscrew the tailcap and insert the battery with the positive (+) pole towards the head. Then fully tighten the tailcap again.
Battery charge status indication - after switching on, or after a short press of the button while the torch is off, the LED indicator in the button activates for 3 seconds. If the indicator LED is green, the battery is charged to more than 85%. Flashing green means 50–85% capacity. If it lights red, it is charged to 25–50%. Flashing red indicates less than 25% battery capacity remaining.
Intelligent overheat protection - if the temperature exceeds 60 °C, the output will automatically be reduced. Once the temperature drops below 60 °C, the output will gradually increase again.
Low battery warning - if the battery voltage drops below 3.0 V, the torch will reduce brightness to a lower level until it reaches the lowest Eco output mode. After reaching the lowest output, the LED indicator in the button will flash red and the torch will flash for 20 seconds to remind you to recharge or replace the battery. Pressing the side button once stops the main light flashing and returns to Eco mode. After the 20-second flashing ends, the torch can be used in Eco mode for more than 30 minutes.
Charging
Flip open the dust cover and plug the USB-C charging cable into the torch’s charging port. After charging is complete, seal the dust cover again.
The typical charging time for a fully discharged torch is approximately 1.5 hours with a 9 V / 2.3 A (20 W) USB power source. The torch can be used while charging.
During charging, the indicator LED in the button lights red. When fully charged, it lights green.
Power specifications: charging voltage 5 V / 9 V, max. charging power: 20 W (9 V / 2.3 A). Use only a certified USB charging adaptor that meets the safety standards of the country or region in which this product is sold.
Warning
Do not disassemble the sealed part in the torch head yourself; doing so will void the warranty.
Remove the battery, lock the torch or loosen the tailcap to prevent accidental activation during storage or transport.
Use only high-quality 21700 Li-ion batteries to avoid damage to the torch, for example due to battery leakage.
If the protective rubber rings appear damaged after prolonged use, replace them. The rings also need to be lubricated to prevent rubber erosion. By following these rules, the torch will be properly protected against water.
If the torch flashes, does not switch to higher output, or does not turn on, it may be due to one of the following reasons:
- The battery is discharged; recharge it.
- The contacts inside the torch are dirty – clean them with a cotton swab soaked in alcohol.
- The tailcap is loose; tighten it.
