  • You travel across continents - by plane, by truck on rickety roads and across glacial valleys on the back of a yak. For such adventures, the Rab expedition bag is designed for extreme durability and strength, protecting your contents from rough handling, dust and moisture.

A security lock on the main zipper protects your gear from prying hands as well. Compression straps ensure load stability and allow you to adjust the volume of the bag to suit your needs. External loops are ideal for attaching additional gear or for securing the bag - perhaps to a sturdy yak back.

  • The RAB story began in 1981 in the attic of a small terraced house in Sheffield, where Rab Carrington made the first sleeping bag to bear his name. Rab's experience from his years in the mountains was evident in his designs, which he hand-stitched and devised with his own genius eye, and were soon in demand from both friends and the growing local mountaineering community.

But it didn't end there. Soon the word got out and the Sheffield loft became a factory floor, producing sleeping bags and jackets for customers far and wide. Now, decades later, these honest and durable models can be found all over the world; wherever adventurers venture out to meet the elements. From Himalayan peaks to cool, breezy evenings around a campfire.
