The Escapist Evo Tarp is an ultralight tarp designed for those who want maximum performance at minimal weight – whether on multi-day hikes or demanding expeditions. Thanks to its thoughtful design and modern materials, it provides reliable shelter in any terrain and weather.

For 2026, the tarp has been significantly upgraded with Ultra-Sil LS fabric, which absorbs less water, stretches less and dries faster, so it maintains a taut pitch even in rain or strong winds. The catenary-cut edge shape also minimises fabric flapping, keeping the tarp stable even in gusty conditions.

1. Easy and secure setup with trekking poles
   Circular reinforced sleeves securely capture the tips of trekking poles, while adjustable line tensioners allow precise tightening of the tarp directly from underneath without having to walk around the pitch – resulting in a fast, rigid and stable setup even in demanding conditions.
2. Versatile use and eco-friendly materials
   A central hanging loop allows the tarp to be suspended from a branch as an alternative setup method, the included stuff sack also serves as a pocket for poles or a paddle, and the entire Ultra-Sil LS fabric is made from recycled materials with bluesign certification and contains no PFAS – so the tarp helps protect the nature you use it in.
