FENIX E18R V2.0 - rechargeable flashlight

TheFenix E18R V2.0 is a rechargeable miniature pocket LED flashlight with a short-term extreme output of up to 1200 lumens (ANSI). This model uses the high-end Luminus SST-40 diode as the light source . With a length of just 67 millimeters and a weight of 56 grams (including battery), it can be carried with you at all times - in your pocket, on your keys or in your purse.

It is powered by a rechargeable Li-ion battery RCR123A, which can be charged in the flashlight via USB-C connector from any USB source (e.g. computer, powerbank, USB source in the car). A disposable CR123A battery can also be used in an emergency.

Of course, the high quality of the design, durability and waterproofness is a matter of course. The flashlight is equipped with a detachable clip and the end is equipped with a magnet. A unique innovation is the special collimator, which creates a light cone with a surprising range of 146 meters.

The collimator is made with technology used in the auto industry and its height is only 3 millimeters, less than half that of commonly used optics. Application
To switch on or off, hold the side button for approximately 0.5 seconds. You can switch power modes at any time during operation by pressing the side button. To switch to flash mode, hold the side button for approximately 1.2 seconds.
The control button can be locked to prevent spontaneous switching on, e.g. when transporting in luggage - press the control button twice quickly (within 0.5 seconds). To unlock, press the button again twice quickly.
Intelligent overheating protection - as the flashlight reaches a high power of 1200 lumens, it does not experience a temperature rise. If the temperature exceeds 60°C, the power is automatically reduced. Once the temperature drops below 60°C, the highest power can be used again.
Charging - Unclip the rubber cap of the charging connector on the side of the flashlight and plug in the included cable (USB-C connector), plug the other end of the cable into a computer or a USB adapter to the mains or car. During charging, the indicator LED lights red. When fully charged, it will light up green. Charging a fully discharged battery takes approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes.
Indication of battery charge status - when the torch is switched off, a short press of the side button activates the indication LED in the side button of the torch for three seconds. If the indicator LED is green the battery is more than 85% charged. Green flashing indicates 50-85% capacity. If it glows red, it is 25-50% charged. Red flashing indicates less than 25% battery capacity remaining.
Low battery warning (only functional when using Li-ion RCR123A) - the flashlight will gradually switch automatically to the lowest mode and the indicator LED in the button will start flashing red.

Warning
Do not disassemble thesealed part in the flashlight head yourself, it will violate the warranty. Use only high quality 3V CR123A batteries and RCR123A Li-ion batteries to avoid damaging the flashlight, for example due to battery leakage.
If the protective rubber rings appear damaged after prolonged use, replace them. The rings should also be lubricated to prevent erosion of the rubber. By following these rules, the flashlight will be properly protected against water.
If the flashlight flickers, does not switch to higher power modes, or does not light up, it may be due to one of the following reasons:
1) The battery is dead - charge it.
2) The contacts inside the flashlight are dirty - clean them with a cotton swab dipped in alcohol.
3) The flashlight body is loose - tighten it.
