The Fenix E08R UE pocket rechargeable flashlight pushes the boundaries of everyday carry (EDC) with its unique flat design and unprecedented feature set.

Usage
To turn the white light on or off, hold the main button for about 0.5 seconds. Five basic power modes are then toggled with a short press of the same button. The remote and wide beam are toggled with a press of the center oval button.
Tactical Tail Switch (Turbo and Strobe) – When the light is off or in strobe mode, a press of the tail switch will activate Turbo. If the button is released within 3 seconds, the light will turn off. If the button is held for more than 3 seconds, the light will lock into Turbo mode. To activate the strobe when the light is off (or from Turbo/white light), press the tactical switch twice in quick succession. Pressing the switch again will turn the light off or return to the previous mode.
Red Light is activated and deactivated by holding the side red button for approximately 0.5 seconds. A short press of the button toggles between high and low power. The red light can also be activated directly from the on white light or laser by holding the red switch for 0.5 seconds.
Green Laser is activated and deactivated by holding the green button on the side of the light for approximately 0.5 seconds. When the white light is on, the green laser can be activated simultaneously (added to the white light) by holding the green switch for 0.5 seconds.
Scene Modes – Double-tap the main button when the light is off to activate the side illumination. A short press of the button cycles through the functions – white side light → RGB steady on → red/blue flashing → RGB smooth pulsing → digital dice → digital hourglass. The scene mode is turned off again by holding the main button for 0.5 seconds.
*In RGB steady on mode, holding the oval button will select your favorite color.
**In digital dice mode, shake the light twice to randomly light 1 to 6 side points.
Memory of Last Mode – When the white light is turned on, the light will always turn on in the last selected power mode. This function does not apply to the highest High modes (in both flood and spot beam), in which case the next lower mode is activated instead.
The control buttons can be locked to prevent accidental activation, for example, during transport in luggage – when the flashlight is off, press and hold the red and green side buttons simultaneously for 2 seconds. The flashlight will then flash twice to indicate that it is locked. To unlock the buttons, press and hold them for 2 seconds again, and the flashlight will turn on in Moonlight mode.
Battery charge indicator - when the flashlight is off, press the main button once briefly, and the indicator LED will light up for 3 seconds. Green light indicates a battery charge of 100-85%, green flashing indicates 85-50%, red light indicates a charge of 50-25%, and red flashing indicates a critically low battery (less than 25%).
Overheating protection - if the flashlight temperature exceeds 60 °C, the output will automatically be reduced. Once the temperature drops below 60 °C, the flashlight will gradually return to its original output.
Low battery warning - the flashlight will automatically switch to the lowest power mode and the indicator LED will start flashing red to warn that the battery needs to be recharged.

Charging
Turn off the flashlight and connect it to a computer, a USB wall adapter, or a car USB adapter using the USB-C cable. You can also use any mobile phone charger with a USB-C connector to charge the flashlight.
The indicator LED will light up red while charging, and will turn green when the battery is fully charged. Disconnect the cable after charging is complete.
Charging voltage: 5 V, max. charging power 5 W (5 V / 1 A). The typical charging time from a fully discharged state is approximately 2.5 hours.
The flashlight can be used to a limited extent while charging. If the battery voltage is below 3.3 V, only Moonlight mode can be activated. If the voltage is above 3.3 V, Moonlight to Med modes can be used. Red light, green laser, strobe, and Turbo modes are not available during charging.
The battery does not suffer from the memory effect, so the flashlight can be charged at any time.
