Cytal Carbon is the result of a continuous search for new ways to maximise performance and safety. The road cycling helmet introduces new methods and technologies to help ensure speed and protection.
Using manufacturing methods currently seen only on luxury sports cars, POC has integrated a carbon wing into the helmet to improve aerodynamic performance, keep weight low and support a more even distribution of impact forces across the whole helmet.
The introduction of new modelling and simulation methods during the design process opened up new possibilities for testing designs and pushed the helmet’s capabilities in balancing speed, safety and performance. The result: a new approach to what keeps you safe.
The helmet is more open at the front, improving air intake for better ventilation and reduced air resistance. A size adjustment system running from temple to temple and around the back of the head makes it easier to find a secure and comfortable fit.

POC is a Swedish company with a strong mission to do the best we can to save lives and reduce the consequences of accidents for athletes and cyclists.
POC was founded in 2005 and first entered the market at ISPO, where it also presented its mission. POC's new ideas and solutions to improve the safety of ski racing by reducing the force transmitted to the brain and body in the event of an accident have received a lot of attention.
The concepts, technologies and materials used and implemented for the helmets and pads were developed in close collaboration with the POC Lab; POC's scientific forum comprising the world's leading sports medicine experts, brain scientists and spinal cord injury specialists.
