Cytal Carbon is the result of a constant search for new ways to maximize performance and safety. The road cycling helmet introduces new methods and technologies to ensure speed and safety.
Using manufacturing methods currently only seen in luxury sports cars, POC has integrated a carbon wing into the helmet that improves its aerodynamic properties, keeps weight down and promotes a more even distribution of impact force throughout the helmet.
The introduction of new modelling and simulation methods during the design process has opened up new design testing opportunities and pushed the helmet's capabilities in terms of balancing speed, safety and performance. The result: a new approach to what keeps you safe.
The helmet is more open in the front, improving air entry into the helmet for better ventilation and reduced air resistance. An adjustment system extending from the temples and around the back of the head makes it easier to find a secure and comfortable fit.
- CARBON WING
The helmet features an integrated lightweight carbon wing that improves aerodynamic performance and impact force distribution. - Adjustment System
The size adjustment system stretches from temple to temple around the back of the head, leaving the front more open for better ventilation while providing a secure fit. - LIGHTWEIGHT PC SHELL
The PC outer shell is molded into the helmet liner, increasing its structural stability. - OPENED ENTRANCE OPENINGS
The more open entry holes in the front of the helmet allow for better ventilation and airflow around the head. - LIGHTWEIGHT
The helmet is lightweight, weighing 250g in size M. - OPTIMIZED EPS INSERT
The EPS insert is optimized for performance and provides additional protection in areas where it is needed most.

POC is a Swedish company with a strong mission to do the best we can to save lives and reduce the consequences of accidents for athletes and cyclists.
POC was founded in 2005 and first entered the market at ISPO, where it also presented its mission. POC's new ideas and solutions to improve the safety of ski racing by reducing the force transmitted to the brain and body in the event of an accident have received a lot of attention.
The concepts, technologies and materials used and implemented for the helmets and pads were developed in close collaboration with the POC Lab; POC's scientific forum comprising the world's leading sports medicine experts, brain scientists and spinal cord injury specialists.
