The Spine Spine Protector Spine VPD 2.0 by POC is made of VPD material, which has unique properties. It is soft and elastic up to the moment of impact but stiffens in the event of an impact, showing its extreme ability to absorb energy. This extra lightweight protector works progressively, which means it adapts itself to the force of the impact.
It is certified to the highest motorcycle standard. The protector can be removed if necessary (e.g. washing the vest). The new VPD 2.0 offers extreme shock absorption capability, giving a completely new alternative in addressing the traditional safety feature trade-off between flexibility and real protection.
VPD2.0 offers improved flexibility at low temperatures and has increased tear resistance. To further increase puncture resistance, the spine protectors have a sheet of thermoplastic polymer embedded in the spine area. The upgraded version of the VPD 2.0 2.0 material is still very soft on the surface,soft, comfortable and adapts to any body shape.
VPD 2.0 offers uncompromising safety while maintaining a high level of comfort and unrestricted movement.
