The new backpack coming in the new 2018 collection is designed for lightweight cycling trips. The Race Air weighs just 800 grams, features ventilation on three sides and a compact shape thanks to ergonomically shaped braided shoulder straps and a waist belt.

For small to medium-sized packs that are like a fish in water on easier terrain, Deuter specializes in ventilation. At the heart of the Aircomfort systems - tested and proven for decades - is a flexible spring frame. It's extremely durable, provides stable tension for the air mesh backpack, and creates a ventilation space between the pack and the wearer's back to dissipate moist, warm air.
