FENIX BC25R - Rechargeable Cycling Flashlight

The powerful Fenix BC25R Rechargeable Cycle Flashlight delivers up to 600 lumens (ANSI) of light with a range of up to 106 meters. It is powered by a built-in 2600 mAh Li-ion battery that charges via a micro USB connector directly in the flashlight.

The light source is a modern Cree XP-G3 diode with a warmer shade of light (neutral white). The advantage of this shade of light is a more natural and contrasting colour rendering in the field. The flashlight uses a specially shaped reflector that directs light only forward and to the sides, not upwards. The light cone is therefore sharply cut off from above and does not dazzle other drivers and pedestrians.

The design of the holder allows for quick mounting and removal of the light on the handlebars without tools, and the holder also allows for quick removal of the light so it can be used as a high-powered handheld light. The holder can be used on all common handlebars from 20 to 35 millimetres in diameter.

The Fenix BC25R offers a total of five digitally controlled power modes with up to 36 hours of runtime, and there's no shortage of flashing. Fenix cycling lights provide you with quality lighting for night training, regular commuting and endurance racing.

All flashlight parameters (lumen output, battery life, waterproofing and range) are measured in accordance with ANSI/NEMA FL 1-2009.

Using the Fenix BC25R Bike Light
To turn on or off, hold the button on the light down for approximately 0.5 seconds. The power modes can be switched at any time during operation with a short press of the button (cycling through in the order of low - medium - high - turbo). Flashing can be activated with two quick button presses. Another press returns the flashlight to the previous mode.
Battery capacity indication: with the flashlight off, press the button once briefly, then the indicator LEDs light up for five seconds to indicate the battery charge status. Two LEDs: 26 -50% capacity. Three LEDs: 51 - 85% capacity. Four LEDs: 86 - 100% capacity.
Low battery warning - if the battery capacity drops below about 20%, the flashlight will automatically switch to lower power modes to ensure the longest possible life (the flashlight cannot be switched to higher modes afterwards). If the battery is critically low, the last indicator LED will flash. In this case, we recommend charging the flashlight as soon as possible to prevent the protective electronics built into the battery from shutting down and thus turning off the light.

Charging
Unclip the rubber cap of the micro USB connector on the bottom of the flashlight and plug it into a computer, mains USB adapter or car USB adapter using the included USB cable. Alternatively, any mobile phone charger with a micro USB connector can also be used for charging.
During charging, the indicator LEDs flash to show the charging progress, after full charge all indicator LEDs are lit.
Charging time is approx. 2.5 hours. The Li-ion battery used does not suffer from a memory effect, so the flashlight can be recharged at any time.
During charging, the flashlight can be used in an emergency, only the low 50 lumen mode is available. However, the charging time will be extended.
After charging and removing the power cable, be sure to seal the micro USB connector cap.

Caution
Do not disassemble the sealed parts in the head of the flashlight yourself, it will violate the warranty.
If the flashlight blinks or does not light up, it means the battery is dead. Charge it.
