  • Aerodynamic performance, safety and ventilation need not be at the expense of others. Thanks to our whole-helmet approach to development, we've been able to achieve unrivalled levels of aerodynamic performance, safety and ventilation without compromise with the Ventral Mips.

    Thanks to the inspiration of the Venturi effect, the helmet's airflow zones allow for more efficient airflow and therefore a faster ride. Residual air travelling around the helmet is controlled by a 22° aerodynamic trailing edge, the ideal angle to minimise turbulence, further improving aerodynamic performance. By channeling air through the helmet rather than around it, airflow is minimized while improving ventilation and cooling properties.

    Other elements of our whole helmet approach include a fully wrapped unibody shell with EPS liner that provides the ideal balance between weight and protection. The helmet now incorporates the MIPS system for increased protection against rotational impact and also features a lightweight adjustment system that covers the entire head for a comfortable and secure fit.

    POC was founded in 2005 and first entered the market at ISPO, where it also presented its mission. POC's new ideas and solutions to improve the safety of ski racing by reducing the force transmitted to the brain and body in the event of an accident have received a lot of attention.

    The concepts, technologies and materials used and implemented for the helmets and pads were developed in close collaboration with the POC Lab; POC's scientific forum comprising the world's leading sports medicine experts, brain scientists and spinal cord injury specialists.
