FENIX HL60R black - Rechargeable headlamp

The Fenix HL60R is an extremely powerful rechargeable headlamp that offers a light output of up to 950 lumens and a range of 116 meters. Included is a rechargeable 18650 li-ion battery with a capacity of 2600 mAh, which charges directly in the flashlight via the side micro USB connector.

The light source is a high-end Cree XM-L2 T6 LED with a warmer shade of light (neutral white). The advantage of this shade of light is a more natural and contrasting color rendition in nature. The all-metal construction ensures high durability, optimal cooling and is also fully waterproof according to IPX-8 standard up to a depth of 2 meters underwater.

There are a total of 6 power modes including red light with up to 100 hours of operation. The headlamp is powered by a digitally regulated constant current to guarantee constant light output even when the battery voltage is reduced (when the batteries are slowly discharging).

Power mode:
950 lumens (48 minutes) -> 400 lumens (3 hours) -> 150 lumens (10 hours) -> 50 lumens (29 hours) -> 5 lumens (100 hours) -> 1 lumen red light (100 hours).

Use
There may be a black insulating cap on the battery inside the flashlight at the factory. Remove it from the battery pack before first use. The headlamp is switched on and off by holding the button for half a second, once switched on the light modes are cycled by pressing the button. Battery capacity indication (only valid when powered by 18650 li-ion battery) - with the headlamp off, press the button once briefly, then the LEDs will flash for three seconds. White indicates a fully charged battery, white and red indicates an approximately half charged battery and red indicates an almost discharged battery. Overheat protection - if the headlamp gets hotter than a safe limit, it will automatically switch to a lower power level. Operation at the highest power mode is thus not limited by time, but only by temperature. Therefore, the highest power can be used continuously when moving quickly.

Charging
Unsnap the rubber cap of the micro USB connector on the side of the headlamp and plug it into a computer, mains USB adapter or car USB adapter using the included USB cable. Alternatively, any mobile phone charger with a micro USB connector can be used for charging. The red LEDs flash during charging and are permanently lit when fully charged. Charging time for a fully discharged battery takes approx. 4 hours. The li-ion battery used does not suffer from memory effect, so the headlamps can be recharged at any time. Thoroughly seal the USB connector cap after each charge.

Caution
Do not disassemble the sealed parts yourself, it will violate the warranty. If using disposable CR123A batteries, do not attempt to charge them in the headlamp. Remove the batteries from the flashlight if you will not be using it for an extended period of time or if the batteries are already dead. Otherwise, some lower quality batteries may damage the headlamp. If the headlamp blinks, does not switch to higher power modes, or does not light up, it may be due to one of the following reasons. The headlamp cap is loose - tighten it. The electrical contacts are dirty - clean them with a cotton ball dipped in alcohol.
