The fourth generation Fenix TK35 Ultimate Edition V2.0 tactical flashlight delivers up to 5000 lumens (ANSI) and a wide continuous cone with a range of up to 400 meters. It achieves these parameters thanks to three high-performance Luminus SST-40 LEDs.

The flashlight is recommended to be powered by two li-ion batteries of type 18650 or four CR123A batteries. Two CR123A batteries or just one 18650 battery can also be used in a pinch. However, the highest modes will not be available with them. The flashlight has a rotary dial that can be used to lock the controls or select one of two modes of use.

In tactical mode, the flashlight can be turned on to 3500 lumens or to strobe mode of the same output. In duty mode, you can choose between five light modes (30 - 350 - 800 - 2000 - 5000 lumens) and strobe. On the lowest mode it can shine for up to 85 hours.

Thanks to the side-by-side arrangement of the batteries, the flashlight is surprisingly short and fits perfectly in the hand. The rugged and waterproof design to IP68 standard makes this tactical flashlight primarily for harsh outdoor conditions. It is great for law enforcement, search and rescue operations, as well as hunting and other outdoor activities.

All flashlight parameters (lumen output, battery life, waterproof, range and shock resistance) are measured in accordance with ANSI/NEMA FL 1-2009.

Use
The flashlight offers three modes. Switch between the modes with the rotary wheel located at the end of the flashlight.
Service Mode - Press the main switch of the flashlight to turn on. Then with further short presses of the smaller button (located in the middle of the rotary dial) the modes are cycled through in the order 30 - 350 - 800 - 2000 - 5000 lumens. To activate the strobe, hold the smaller switch for approximately 1 second. To switch the flashlight back to steady light, press the smaller switch again or turn the flashlight off and on. In duty mode, the flashlight remembers the last mode set except strobe.
Tactical mode - Press the master switch to turn the flashlight on and off. Only the 3500 lumen mode is available in tactical mode. When the flashlight is on in tactical mode, the strobe is activated by pressing the smaller button. Press it again to deactivate the strobe.
Lock - the third position on the rotary selector locks the flashlight and cannot be switched on - useful for example when transporting in luggage. The flashlight can be locked in both the off and on state, locking also turns the flashlight off. Locking is signalled by a steady green-red flashing of the indicator LEDs in the switch, which can help, for example, to find the torch in the dark. The lock indication can be switched off or on again by holding the smaller button for 3 seconds.
Lock the flashlight directly into strobe mode - press and hold the switch on the rotary button, the strobe will be active for as long as it is held.
Intelligent overheat protection - after the temperature exceeds 60 °C the flashlight will automatically gradually reduce the power, after cooling down below this limit the highest modes will be available again.
Battery capacity indication - after switching on the flashlight the colored LED indicator in the switch will light up for 3 seconds. If the indicator LED is green the battery is more than 85% charged. Green flashing means 50-85% capacity. If the light is red, the battery is 25-50% charged. Red flashing indicates less than 20% battery capacity remaining. The indication only works correctly when using Fenix 18650 batteries.
Drained Battery Warning - The flashlight will gradually automatically switch to the lowest power mode and the indicator LED in the switch button will start flashing red.

Warning
Do not disassemble the sealed parts of the flashlight yourself, this will void the warranty.
Never use differently discharged batteries or batteries with different capacities.
Use only good quality batteries and accumulators to avoid damage to the flashlight, for example due to battery leakage.
If the protective rubber rings appear damaged after prolonged use, replace them. The rings should also be lubricated to prevent erosion of the rubber. By following these rules, the flashlight will be properly protected against water.
If the flashlight flickers, does not switch to higher power modes, or does not light up, it may be due to one of the following reasons:
- Batteries are almost dead - replace them.
- The contacts inside the flashlight or battery holder are dirty - clean them with a cotton swab dipped in alcohol.
- The flashlight body is loose - add lubricant to the sealing rings and tighten.
