FENIX PD35 V3.0 - rechargeable flashlight

The latest generation of the high-performance Fenix PD35 V3.0 pocket flashlight delivers up to 1700 lumens (ANSI) and a range of up to 357 meters. The excellent light output has been achieved using the latest Luminus SFT-40 LED. The flashlight is powered by a Li-ion 18650 2600 mAh battery (included), with its own micro-USB charging connector.

The Fenix PD35 V3.0 features six different light modes, allowing you to choose between high power and long life, which reaches up to 230 hours. One of the light modes is strobe, which is suitable for emergency situations. The flashlight is powered by a digitally regulated constant current to guarantee a constant light output even when the voltage in the batteries is reduced (when they are slowly discharging), when it is also equipped with an indication of the state of charge of the batteries.

The PD35 V3.0 impresses not only with its small size and high power, but also with its tactical switch and the possibility of attaching the Fenix AER-02 cable switch. We can therefore recommend it not only for all outdoor enthusiasts, but it will also find use in security forces and hunting.

All flashlight parameters (luminous flux, battery life, waterproofness, range and shock resistance) are measured in accordance with ANSI/NEMA FL 1-2009.

Use
From the factory, there may be a black insulating cap inside the flashlight on the battery. Remove it from the battery pack before first use.
To turn on, press the switch located on the end of the flashlight, press the button for immediate activation. Press the side button at the head of the flashlight to cycle through the five permanent light modes at any time during operation. To switch to strobe mode, hold down the side button for approximately 0.5 seconds.
Intelligent Overheat Protection - If the temperature of the flashlight rises above 60°C, it will automatically begin to reduce power in gradual increments until its temperature stabilizes. As soon as the flashlight temperature drops below 60°C, the power will automatically increase to the original level again.
Battery charge status indication - each time the flashlight is turned on, the indicator LED in the side button of the flashlight is activated for three seconds. If the indicator LED is green the battery is more than 85% charged. Green flashing indicates 50-85% capacity. If it glows red, it is 25-50% charged. Red blinking indicates that less than 25% of battery capacity is left (works only when using a 18650 Li-ion battery).
Discharged Battery Warning - the flashlight gradually switches automatically to the lowest mode, in the lowest mode then every 10 minutes the indicator LED in the button flashes red three times. This indicates the need to recharge the battery or replace it with a fully charged one.
Charging - Plug the USB cable into the side micro-USB connector on the battery pack, the indicator light on the top of the battery pack glows red during charging. When the battery reaches full charge, the light turns green or blue. Charging time for a fully discharged battery is 3-3.5 hours.

Caution
Do not disassemble the sealed parts in the flashlight head by yourself, it will violate the warranty.
Use only high quality 18650 Li-ion battery or 3V CR123A battery to avoid damaging the flashlight.
If the protective rubber rings appear damaged after using for a long time, replace them. The rings should also be lubricated to prevent erosion of the rubber. By following these rules, the flashlight will be properly protected against water.
If the flashlight flashes, does not switch to higher modes, or does not light up, it may be due to one of the following reasons:
- The batteries are almost dead - charge the battery or replace it.
- The contacts inside the flashlight are clogged - clean them with a sponge dipped in alcohol.
- The head, body or back of the flashlight is loose - add lubricant to the sealing rings and tighten both the head and the end of the flashlight firmly.
