FENIX PD32 XP-L - LED flashlight

The fifth generation of the Fenix PD32 XP-L flashlight offers an extreme light output of up to 900 lumens (ANSI) and an impressive range of up to 240 meters. The superior range (relative to the size of the flashlight) has been achieved by using a high-end Cree XP-L HI (High Intensity) LED that produces a very well-focused cone.

The flashlight can be powered by two disposable CR123A batteries or one high-capacity li-ion 18650 battery. The Fenix PD32 XP-L features seven different light modes, allowing you to choose between high power, long lasting (up to 260 hours) and flash modes for attention grabbing and emergency situations.

The flashlight is powered by a digitally controlled constant current to guarantee a constant light output even when the battery voltage is reduced (when the batteries are slowly discharging). The PD32 impresses not only with its compact size and huge power output, but also with the possibility of attaching a Fenix AR102 or Fenix AER-02 cable switch. We can therefore recommend it for use in security forces as well as general outdoor and hunting use.

Use
To turn on, press the switch located at the end of the flashlight. Press the side button at the head of the flashlight to switch between power modes at any time during operation. To switch to strobe mode, hold the side button for approximately 0.5 seconds, then press briefly to switch to SOS mode. The flashlight remembers the last power mode set, except for SOS and strobe.

Caution
Do not disassemble the sealed part in the flashlight head yourself, it will violate the warranty. Use only high quality 3V CR123A batteries and 18650 li-ion batteries to avoid damaging the flashlight, for example due to battery leakage. If the protective rubber rings appear damaged after prolonged use, replace them. The rings should also be lubricated to prevent erosion of the rubber. By following these rules, the flashlight will be properly protected against water. If the flashlight flickers, does not switch to higher power modes, or does not light up, it may be due to one of the following reasons: the batteries are almost dead - replace them. The contacts inside the flashlight are clogged - clean them with a cotton swab dipped in alcohol. The head, body or back of the flashlight is loose - add lubricant to the sealing rings and tighten both the head and the end of the flashlight firmly.
