FENIX LD22 V2.0 - Rechargeable LED flashlight

The latest generation of the Fenix LD22 V2.0 offers up to 800 lumens (ANSI) and a range of 214 meters. It is powered by a single ARB-L14-1100U type Li-ion battery with 1100 mAh capacity and built-in USB-C charging connector (battery included), providing power for up to 220 hours of illumination in lowest mode.

If required, it can be replaced by two regular AA pencil batteries with which, however, the maximum output is limited to 350 lumens. It can also be replaced by two Li-ion batteries type 14500, with which the flashlight operates at a maximum output of 800 lumens.

The flashlight is equipped with a high-efficiency LED Luminus SST-20 capable of lighting in seven modes, including strobe and SOS. Its practicality will be appreciated at home, at the cottage, at work, in the car, when camping and as part of an evacuation package.

All flashlight parameters (lumen output, battery life, waterproof, range and shockproof) are measured in accordance with ANSI/NEMA FL 1-2009.

When using the ARB-L14-1100U battery: 800 lumens (54 minutes) -> 350 lumens (1.6 hours) -> 100 lumens (7 hours) -> 30 lumens (22.3 hours) -> 2 lumens (220 hours) -> Strobe 800 lumens -> SOS 100 lumens.
Using AA alkaline batteries: 350 lumens (1.25 hours) -> 100 lumens (5.8 hours) -> 30 lumens (19.75 hours) -> 2 lumens (190 hours) -> Strobe 350 lumens -> SOS 100 lumens.

Application
There may be a black insulating cap on the battery inside the flashlight at the factory. Remove it from the battery before first use.
To switch on, press the switch located at the end of the torch, to activate immediately press the button. Press the side button at the head of the flashlight to cycle through the five steady light modes at any time during operation. To switch to strobe mode, hold the side button for approximately 0.5 seconds. Another press then turns on the S0S.
Intelligent overheat protection - if the temperature of the flashlight rises above 60°C, it will automatically start to reduce power in gradual steps until its temperature stabilizes. Once the flashlight temperature drops below 60°C, the power will automatically increase to the original level again.
Low battery warning - the torch will automatically switch to the lowest mode gradually, then flash three times every 5 minutes in the lowest mode. This indicates the need to recharge the battery.
Charging - remove the battery from the flashlight, plug the USB-C cable into the side USB-C connector on the battery, plug the other end of the cable into a computer, power bank or car USB adapter (not included). During charging, the indicator light on the top of the battery glows red. When the battery reaches full charge, it glows blue.

Notice
Do not disassemble the sealed part in the head of the flashlight yourself, this will violate the warranty.
Remove the alkaline batteries from the flashlight if you will not be using it for an extended period of time or if the batteries are already dead. This will prevent the risk of the batteries leaking and damaging the flashlight.
If the protective rubber rings appear damaged after prolonged use, replace them. The rings should also be lubricated to prevent erosion of the rubber. By following these rules, the flashlight will be properly protected against water.
If the flashlight flickers, does not switch to higher power modes, or does not light up, it may be due to one of the following reasons:
- The battery is dead - charge it or, if using disposable batteries, replace them.
- The contacts inside the flashlight are clogged - clean them with a cotton swab dipped in alcohol.
- The head, body or back of the flashlight is loose - add lubricant to the sealing rings and tighten both the head and the end of the flashlight.
