The second generation of the Fenix LD02 flashlight is extremely small but powerful - offering up to 70 lumens (ANSI) and a range of 48 meters. It is equipped with a powerful Cree XQ-E LED with a warmer light tint and a high CRI 90 (Color Rendering Index). Its true-to-life colour rendering makes it suitable for applications such as medical examinations.

It is equipped with an ultraviolet LED with a wavelength of 365 nm and a luminous flux of 200 mW. The ultraviolet light enables, for example, a quick authenticity check of documents, banknotes and credit cards. It can also be used to check the purity or quality of materials or for forensic analysis. The flashlight is not much larger than the micro-needle battery (AAA battery) from which it is powered.

The head and tail of the flashlight are made of stainless steel, plus this UV flashlight features a clip for carrying in a pocket or on a belt. With a length of 9.2 centimeters and a weight of 24 grams, the LD02 is the ideal flashlight for Everyday Carry (EDC). With a diameter of 1.35 centimetres, it is also suitable for illuminating hard-to-reach areas. Due to its parameters, we recommend it as a flashlight for doctors, police officers and as a work flashlight.

All flashlight parameters (luminous flux, battery life, waterproofness, range and shock resistance) are measured in accordance with ANSI/NEMA FL 1-2009.

Use
To turn on, press the switch located at the end of the flashlight. The flashlight has a memory and will always turn on in the last set mode. With the flashlight on, you can change the power modes at any time by pressing the button (they switch cyclically: low - medium - high - UV). Overheat protection - after 3 minutes of operation in the highest mode, the power will gradually decrease to 50 lumens.

Caution
Do not disassemble the sealed part in the head of the flashlight yourself, it will violate the warranty. Insert the batteries with the positive terminal facing the head of the flashlight. Remove the battery from the flashlight if you will not be using it for an extended period of time or if it is already dead. This will prevent the battery from draining and subsequent damage to the unit. If the protective rubber rings appear damaged after prolonged use, replace them. The rings should also be lubricated to prevent erosion of the rubber. By following these rules, the flashlight will be properly protected against water. If the flashlight blinks, does not switch to higher power modes, or does not light up, it may be due to one of the following:
The battery is almost dead - replace it.
The head of the flashlight is loose, tighten it.
The contacts inside the flashlight are clogged - clean them with a cotton swab dipped in alcohol.
