The Fenix HT18 hunting flashlight is one of the tactical flashlights with the largest range in the range. Its powerful reflector offers a range of up to 925 meters and a light output of up to 1500 lumens (ANSI). The light source is the high-performance XHP35 HI LED from the American manufacturer Cree. It is powered by a single Li-ion battery type 21700 with 5000 mAh capacity and built-in USB-C charging connector (battery included), in case of emergency, an 18650 battery with included reduction can also be used for power.

The Fenix HT18 LED flashlight features a total of five white light functions with up to 61 hours of light, including strobe flash. There is a tactical switch on the back of the flashlight that allows for instant activation by squeezing. In addition, a red and green filter is included. Long gun mounts are compatible with the flashlight, and the manufacturer plans to offer a suitable cable switch starting in February 2020.

Controls
To turn on, press the main switch located at the end of the flashlight, to activate the button immediately. Press the side button to switch between power modes at any time during operation. The side button must be held down for 0.8 seconds to activate the strobe. After another short press, the flashlight returns to the original mode. The flashlight remembers the last selected mode (works only for constant light modes).
Discharged battery warning - the flashlight will automatically switch to the lowest mode and the indicator in the side button will start flashing red.
Battery charge indication - each time the flashlight is turned on, the indicator LED in the side button activates for three seconds. If the indicator LED is green the battery is more than 85% charged. Green flashing indicates 50-85% capacity. If it glows red, it is 25-50% charged. Red flashing indicates less than 25% battery capacity remaining. (Works only when using 21700 and 18650 Li-ion batteries).
Intelligent Overheat Protection - If the temperature of the flashlight rises above 65°C, it will automatically start to reduce the power in gradual steps until it reaches 800 lumens. Once the temperature of the flashlight drops below 65°C, the output will automatically increase to the original level again. Operation at the highest power mode is thus not limited by time, but only by temperature.

Caution
Use only high quality rechargeable Li-ion batteries with protective electronics.
Insert the batteries with the positive terminal facing the head of the flashlight.
If the protective rubber rings appear damaged after extended use, replace them. The rings should also be lubricated to prevent erosion of the rubber. By following these rules, the flashlight will be properly protected against water.
If the flashlight flickers, does not switch to higher power modes or does not light up, it may be due to one of the following reasons:
The battery is almost dead - charge it or replace it.
The contacts inside the flashlight are dirty - clean them with a cotton swab dipped in alcohol.
The head, body or back of the flashlight is loose, tighten them.
