The Fenix FD41 tactical focus flashlight delivers up to 900 lumens (ANSI) of light and a range of up to 340 meters. The light source is a high-end Cree XP-L HI (High Intensity) LED, its light is directed by special TIR (Total Internal Reflection) optics with the possibility of adjusting the width of the light cone (zoom function). The cone width is controlled by turning a ring on the barrel of the flashlight.

Despite the adjustable optics, the flashlight maintains full IP68 waterproofness down to a depth of two meters underwater. The rugged and waterproof design makes this tactical flashlight suitable for harsh outdoor conditions, professionals, armed forces and hunting.

One high-capacity 18650 Li-ion battery or two disposable CR123A batteries can be used for power. A tactical switch on the end is used to turn on the flashlight, and the modes are switched by a side button. All flashlight parameters (lumen output, battery life, waterproof, range, and shock resistance) are measured in accordance with ANSI/NEMA FL 1-2009.

Use
Press the switch located at the end of the flashlight to turn on, press the button for instant activation. Press the side button at the head of the flashlight to switch between power modes at any time during operation. To switch to flash mode, hold the side button for approximately 0.5 seconds. The cone width is controlled by turning the ring on the flashlight barrel. Intelligent overheat protection - operation on 900 lumen turbo mode is limited to 5 minutes at a time, after which the flashlight will switch itself to 350 lumen mode. At the same time, the flashlight monitors its temperature and if it rises above 55°C, it will automatically start to reduce power in gradual steps of 5% every 30 seconds until its temperature stabilizes. Once the lamp's temperature drops below 55°C, the output will automatically increase to the original level again.

Caution
Do not disassemble the sealed parts in the flashlight head yourself, it will violate the warranty. Use only good quality batteries and accumulators. If the protective rubber rings appear damaged after extended use, replace them. The rings should also be lubricated to prevent erosion of the rubber. By following these rules, the flashlight will be properly protected against water. If the flashlight does not switch to higher power modes, flicker or light up, it may be due to one of the following reasons: the batteries are almost dead - replace them. The contacts inside the flashlight are dirty - clean them with a cotton swab dipped in alcohol. The back of the flashlight is loose - tighten it.
