Classic compass-type compass - an essential tool for survival in the wild and in the mountains. Together with a map it helps with proper navigation and orientation in the terrain. On the rounded base of the buzzer you will find a rotating compass wheel with luminescent points indicating the cardinal points: north - N (North), south - S (South), east - E (East) and west - W (West) and meridian lines. The luminescent points make it easier to work in the dark.
The weighted metal compass needle in the liquid capsule (red arrow) points to the north magnetic pole of the Earth. The base plate also contains a magnifying lens, holes for plotting controls and a scale in millimetres. A yellow lanyard is included for hanging around the neck.
