FENIX CL28R - Work light and power bank

Fenix CL28R is a multifunctional rechargeable lantern with integrated power bank. In addition, it also works great as a rechargeable work light, a photographer's light and as a home and tent or car light. The high-brightness COB diode provides a luminous flux of up to 2000 lumens (ANSI), the intensity of which can be smoothly controlled by a rotary dial.

Smoothly adjustable, it also has a color temperature light setting that can be changed in the range of 2700 - 6000 K. The CL28R is powered by a built-in Li-ion battery with a total capacity of 10000 mAh, which is charged directly in the lantern via a USB-C connector.

There are also two USB-C and USB-A discharge ports, so you can use the light as a power bank with support for PD3.0/PD2.0, QC3.0/QC2.0 fast-charging protocols with 18W of power. In addition to the infinitely adjustable white light, the luminaire also offers two red light modes - a steady 9 lumens and a 9 lumens flashing light.

Thanks to its durable and shockproof IP66-rated design, the light can withstand harsh weather conditions and drops from a height of 1.5 meters. The light's wide mounting options are provided by a handle that rotates 360°, includes built-in magnets and also has a static thread.

All flashlight parameters (lumen output, battery life, waterproof, range and shockproof) are measured in accordance with ANSI/NEMA FL 1-2009.

Using the Fenix CL28R Rechargeable Lantern
To turn on in white light mode, turn the A dial clockwise. This smoothly controls the light output from lowest to highest. To reduce the output, turn dial A counterclockwise. To turn off the white light, turn dial A counterclockwise until it clicks in the extreme position.
To change the color temperature of the lit lantern, turn dial B clockwise. The hue of the light will change from warmest to coolest.
Hold the orange button while the lantern is off to turn it to red light mode. Short presses of the orange button switches between steady red light and flashing light. Hold down the red light button to turn the red light off again. The red light mode cannot be started if the white light is on, the white light must first be switched off with rotary control A. If you want to switch from red light mode to white light mode, just turn on the white light by turning the A control clockwise.
Battery capacity indication - when the lantern is switched off, a short press of the orange button activates the four status LEDs on the front of the lantern. The number of lit LEDs indicates the approximate level of battery charge (20-40%, 40-60%, 60-80%, over 80%). When the batteries are discharged below 20% capacity, the last status LED will start flashing.

Charging the Fenix CL28R lantern
To charge the light, flip off the rubber cap of the USB connectors. Connect it using the included USB cable to your computer, USB AC adapter or USB car adapter. A standard mobile phone charger with a USB-C connector can also be used for charging. The status LEDs flash from left to right during charging, and all are permanently lit when fully charged. When charging is complete, make sure the rubber cover of the connectors is carefully covered to prevent the ingress of dirt.
The battery does not suffer from memory effect, so it can be recharged at any time and there is no need to wait until it is discharged. Charging a fully discharged lantern takes approximately 4 hours (depending on the strength of the charging source used).
The light can be used while charging.
To power external USB devices (powerbank function), connect the cable to the USB-C or USB-A connector (cannot use both at the same time). Status LEDs flash from right to left. When the battery voltage drops too low (below 2.9V), the powerbank function stops. The light can be used while other devices are charging.

Caution
Do not disassemble the sealed parts yourself, it will violate the warranty.
If the flashlight is blinking, not switching to higher power modes, or does not light up, the battery is dead - charge it.
