Fenix CL27R Multifunctional Rechargeable Lantern and Flashlight - This model serves as a versatile light for work, photography and home or outdoor use. It features a high-brightness COB diode with up to 1200 lumens, a wide light cone whose intensity and light temperature can be easily controlled with rotary dials.

It also includes a remote reflector with a range of 177 metres and 800 lumens, which can be combined with the wide reflector for a total output of up to 1600 lumens. It also offers a red light for special applications.

Using the Fenix CL27R Rechargeable Lantern
Switching on/off and changing the white light output - To switch to white light mode, turn the left hand dial clockwise. Turning it then smoothly adjusts the light output from lowest to highest. To reduce the output, turn the left hand dial counterclockwise. To turn it off, turn the left knob counterclockwise to the extreme position.
Switching light modes - switch the lantern on clockwise with the left knob, it will always switch on in wide cone mode. The top button can then be pressed to cycle between the wide cone - far cone - far and wide cone light modes.
Changing the shade of the wide cone light - When the lantern is switched to wide cone or combination cone, the shade of the white light of the wide cone can be changed continuously by turning the right control knob from 2700 to 6500 K. The shade of the light of the wide cone is 5700 K and cannot be changed. The lantern remembers the set light shade of the wide light cone even after it is switched off.
Red light - When the lantern is switched off, the red light is switched on and off by holding the electronic switch for 0.5 s. Further presses of the button cycles through the red light modes.
Battery change - Use the included plastic key to loosen the battery cap by turning it counterclockwise. Insert the battery with the plus side facing inside the lantern and then tighten the cap fully again. Caution: screwing the battery cap with a sharp tool may cause scratching.
Battery charge indication - after a short press of the button or after switching on the lantern, the LED charge indicator will activate for 3 seconds. Four lit LEDs indicate that the battery is 80-100% charged, three lit 60-80%, two lit 40-60%, one lit 20-40% and one flashing LED indicates that the battery is less than 20% charged.
Low Battery Warning - If the battery voltage drops below the set level, the lantern will automatically switch to a lower mode until it reaches the lowest power level. When low power is reached, the battery charge indicator will flash to remind you to recharge or replace the battery.

Charging the Fenix CL27R Lantern
Remove the dust cap and plug the USB-C charging cable into the lantern's charging port. Replace the dust cap when charging is complete. Normal charging time is 2.5 hours for a fully discharged lantern. The lantern can also be used while charging. During charging, the indicators flash from left to right, after a full charge all four will remain permanently lit.

Caution
Do not disassemble the sealed parts yourself, this will violate the warranty.
Remove the battery from the lantern if you will not be using it for an extended period of time, or loosen the battery cap half a turn.
Regular cleaning of the electrical contacts ensures trouble-free operation of the lantern, as dirty contacts can cause the lantern to flicker, glow intermittently, or even not glow for the following reasons:
- The battery is dead. Charge it or replace it with a charged one.
- The electrical contacts inside the flashlight are dirty, clean them with a cotton swab dipped in alcohol.
