Using the Fenix C7 V2.0 Flashlight
There may be an insulating cap on the battery inside the flashlight from the factory. Remove it before first use. To turn on or off, press the side button for about 0.5 seconds. The power modes 30 – 100 – 400 – 1400 – 3300 lumens can be switched at any time during operation by pressing the side button briefly. To activate the strobe, press the button for 1.2 seconds (even from the off state), then press the button again briefly to switch between the strobe and SOS modes.
Charging – flip open the rubber cover of the charging port on the side of the flashlight and plug in the supplied cable (USB-C connector), then plug the other end of the cable into a computer, USB adapter for the power grid or car. The charging indicator LED will light up red while charging. It will turn green when fully charged. It takes about 3 hours to fully charge a completely discharged battery (with a 5 V / 2 A power supply). The flashlight can be used while charging.
Intelligent overheat protection – if the temperature of the flashlight rises above 60 °C, it will automatically start to reduce the power output in gradual steps. Once the temperature of the flashlight drops below 60 °C, the power output will gradually increase again.
Battery charge indicator – after a short press of the button (the flashlight must be turned off) or after turning the flashlight on, the LED indicator in the button will light up for 3 seconds. If the indicator light is green, the battery is charged to 85-100 %. A green flashing light indicates 50-85 % capacity. If the light is red, the battery is charged to 25-50 %. A red flashing light indicates that less than 25 % of the battery capacity remains.
Button lock – if you want to prevent the flashlight from being accidentally turned on in your luggage, press the button twice quickly within 0.5 seconds (the flashlight must be turned off). The flashlight will then flash twice in low mode, indicating that it is locked. If you try to turn on a locked flashlight, it will only flash twice. To unlock, press the button twice quickly again, which will also turn the flashlight on in the lowest mode. Unwanted activation can also be prevented by slightly loosening the battery cover of the flashlight.
Low battery warning – the flashlight will automatically switch to the lowest mode. Once the voltage drops below 3.0 V, the side button will start to flash red rapidly and the main light will flash for 20 seconds to alert you that the battery needs to be recharged or replaced. The main light can be turned off by a short press of the button. The flashlight can then be used in the lowest mode (Eco) for another 30 minutes approximately.

Warning
Do not disassemble the sealed part in the head of the flashlight yourself, as this will void the warranty.
Do not shine the flashlight at flammable objects from close range, as this may cause damage or create a hazard due to the high temperature!
Lock the flashlight, remove the battery or loosen the end cap to prevent accidental activation if the flashlight is placed in a closed and flammable environment, such as a pocket or backpack!
Use only high-quality 21700 Li-ion batteries to prevent damage to the flashlight, for example due to leakage from the battery.
If the rubber O-rings are damaged after prolonged use, replace them. The O-rings should also be lubricated to prevent rubber erosion. By following these rules, the flashlight will be properly protected against water.
If the flashlight flashes, does not switch to a higher power level, or does not turn on, this may be due to one of the following reasons:
- The battery is discharged, recharge or replace it.
- The contacts inside the flashlight are dirty – clean them with a cotton swab soaked in alcohol.
- The flashlight body is loose, tighten it.
