The Blaze WaveCel MTB helmet with detachable ear covers, or a 2-in-1 helmet. When you don't need as much protection and can get by with a lighter version of the helmet, the ear covers are easy to remove and take off. But it doesn't change the quality of the helmet itself. It'll still have a five-star safety rating and a lighter, more breathable construction thanks to WaveCel technology. The BOA® tightening system, flat strap grips and Fidlock buckle allow the helmet to be adjusted to fit like a glove. Other features include a detachable Blendr mount for a GoPro camera or Trek light, as well as a visor with a sunglass compartment and magnetic clip that is compatible with downhill goggles and can be adjusted to three different positions.

WaveCel Safety Technology
 The revolutionary WaveCel technology is more effective than traditional foam helmets at protecting against injury in certain cycling accidents. It consists of a cellular layer that lines the inside of the helmet and acts as a crumple zone. It can absorb the force of an impact before it reaches the head.

Crash Replacement Guarantee
We will replace your helmet free of charge if it is damaged in a crash within the first year of ownership. Please contact us or your local dealer. You will need the damaged helmet, original proof of purchase, details of the accident and a return address to send the replacement helmet to.

Lighter and more breathable
 New and even more sophisticated WaveCel technology now consists of 10% larger cells that are lighter in weight and allow for better airflow.

Releasable ear covers
The ear covers serve as additional protection. When you don't need them and a lighter, more breathable version of the classic helmet will do, they are easy to remove.

Removable Blendr Mount
Removable Blendr Mount makes it easy to mount your light or camera. Without it, the helmet has cleaner lines.

Sunglasses compartment
Adhesive vents keep glasses securely in the helmet even when riding.

Magnetic visor
The visor is compatible with downhill goggles, can be adjusted to three different positions and stays securely in place thanks to magnetic grips. In the event of an accident, however, it falls off safely.
