The Blaze WaveCel MTB helmet with detachable ear flaps is a 2-in-1 helmet. When you don't need as much protection and you're happy with a lighter version of the helmet, the ear flaps are easy to remove and take off. But it doesn't change the quality of the helmet itself. It'll still have a five-star safety rating and a lighter, more breathable construction thanks to WaveCel technology. The BOA® tightening system, flat strap grips and Fidlock buckle allow the helmet to be adjusted to fit like a glove. Other features include a detachable Blendr mount for a GoPro camera or Trek light, as well as a visor with a sunglass compartment and magnetic clip that is compatible with downhill goggles and can be adjusted to three different positions.

WaveCel Safety Technology
The revolutionary WaveCel technology is more effective than traditional foam helmets at protecting against injury in certain cycling accidents. It consists of a cellular layer that lines the inside of the helmet and acts as a crumple zone. It can absorb the force of an impact before it reaches the head.

Crash Replacement Guarantee
We will replace your helmet free of charge in the event of crash damage within the first year of ownership. Contact us or your local dealer. You'll need the damaged helmet, the original proof of purchase, details of the accident and a return address where to send the replacement helmet.

Lighter and more breathable
New and even more sophisticated WaveCel technology now consists of 10 % larger cells, which are lighter in weight and allow for better airflow. 

Removable ear covers
The ear covers serve as additional protection. When you don't need them and the classic lighter and more breathable version of the helmet will suffice, they are easily removed.

Removable Blendr mount
The Blendr detachable mount makes it easy to mount a light or camera. Without it, the helmet has cleaner lines.

Sunglasses Compartment
Adhesive vents keep glasses securely in helmet and while riding.

Magnetic Visor
The visor is compatible with downhill goggles, can be adjusted to three different positions and thanks to the magnetic grips it stays securely in place. In the event of an accident, however, it falls off safely.
