The main entrance to the backpack is the back, where you will also find a hydrovac pocket with a hose outlet and a small zippered pocket on the outside to store your map. As with most winter sports backpacks, the Track 20 has a special compartment for avalanche gear, and there's also a closable microfiber pocket at the top for storing goggles.
Somewhat unconventionally, Pieps has solved the attachment of an axe, helmet, snowboard and skis (diagonal) - the loops and holders for this equipment are fully removable and you can adjust the features of the backpack to the activity you are going to. The helmet net can be attached classically to the front of the pack or on top.
In addition to the removable ice axe loops, there is a deep pocket on the front of the pack that can easily hold a boot. You can attach your skis by the loops on the side (A-frame attachment), and the side straps with easy-to-use buckles also serve as compression straps.
