The Backcountry Downtube Pack is made from Dimension-Polyant VX21, a four-layer laminated fabric originally developed for the marine industry. The bags are therefore very durable and fully waterproof. The material offers everything you might need for off-road cycling: it is waterproof, very lightweight, and very strong. Welding instead of stitching ensures that the pannier is completely waterproof.The Backcountry Downtube Pack is not recommended for mounting on tubes smaller than 9.5 cm in diameter. Nor on a seatpost or fork.
