You approach the glacier with a long climb and pull the lightweight Camp Ascent crampons out of your pack and unclip the Camp Corsa Alpine ice axe. The simple binding makes it easy to clip the crampons onto your boots, with the ice axe in hand, and you and your tethered partner begin your ascent up the steep icy slope to the summit. Well-spaced spikes bite perfectly into the frozen surface, and flexible anti-ball snow ejectors prevent packing and potential slips. After reaching the summit, you and your partner shake hands and begin your descent back down the snow-covered ridge to the summit. You take off the crampons, clean them, put them in a transport bag and then put them in your backpack. The crampons gave you confidence and made the climb safe and you could enjoy it without worry.
