The Ascender is designed for use on single rope with a diameter of 8-11 mm. The latch reliably blocks the rope and does not hinder when moving the blocker against the direction of the load.

1. The body of the blocker is made of aluminium alloy due to its low weight.
2. The small lower hole in the handle folds to attach the scaling device with a maillonka, the larger hole to connect the belay loop.
3. The two upper holes allow the carabiner to be threaded around the rope for added security.
4. A slot in the ratchet is used to automatically remove unwanted debris that may be on the rope.
5. The ergonomic handle allows for a firm grip and keeps it parallel to the direction of the load.
6. The rubber handle fits well in the hand and also insulates thermally.
7. The latch lock is anatomically shaped, and an embedded spring allows the latch to be locked in the open position.
8. Certified as a rope clamp for use with dynamic climbing ropes or with auxiliary ropes and low stretch ropes with sheathed core (EN 567).
