Advanced Forged Composite Technology
The rear suspension rocker link is made from a single piece of carbon composite. The core of this advanced technology is the multi-directional lay-up of carbon fibres and an innovative manufacturing process using extremely high-pressure moulding. The resulting product is lighter while also stiffer and stronger than the same part made from aluminium.

Advanced SL Composite Technology
Premium raw carbon is woven and moulded in our own carbon processing factory using the most advanced construction and engineering solutions, including Continuous Fiber technology for greater strength and lower weight, Carbon Nanotube resin technology for improved impact resistance, and the Fusion Process for lighter, stronger frame joints. Advanced SL Composite – the technology used by Giant’s professional racers in almost every cycling discipline.

Flexpoint Pro Suspension Technology
FlexPoint Pro rear suspension with 100 mm travel was designed for XC riding and racing, delivering high efficiency and responsive handling. It is a linkage-driven single pivot – a proven solution that uses the flex of the rear triangle without a mechanical pivot and without a lower rocker link. To achieve low weight, the entire rear triangle, including the rocker link that mounts the shock, is made from carbon.

MegaDrive
A massive rectangular down tube and oversized top tube form a structure that delivers excellent lateral and torsional stiffness in the front of the frame. The result is precise steering and tracking. The carefully engineered rectangular down tube provides unprecedented stiffness for steering and pedalling.

OverDrive
The oversized fork steerer is designed to increase the stiffness of the front end and steering for precise handling. It includes oversized headset bearings (lower 1 1/4" and upper 1 1/8" on road bikes, and lower 1 1/2" and upper 1 1/8" on MTB bikes) and a tapered fork steerer to ensure optimal steering stiffness.

PowerCore
The massively oversized bottom bracket area and rear triangle feature a fully integrated design with an 86.5 mm bottom bracket width (92 mm on MTB bikes). The asymmetric rear triangle provides increased stiffness on the drivetrain side and improved stability on the opposite side.

Wide Guard Technology

When your wheel hits a sharp or square edge, especially at speed, pinch flats and rim damage can occur. Wide Guard technology minimises this risk by broadening the contact point between the rim and tyre with a solid 5mm rim sidewall. That means you can skip the heavy tyre inserts to have less unsprung weight on your bike and allow your suspension to perform better. The wide sidewalls also better protect your wheel from big impacts, reducing the possibility of rim damage.

Giant Tubeless System
Fewer punctures. Better tyre grip. Lower rolling resistance, a more comfortable and faster ride. With the Giant Tubeless System you can take advantage of all these benefits. The rims come from the factory with tubeless tape and valves installed, so you just add sealant and the wheels are fully ready for tubeless use.
