Laser-cut, two-layer laminate with a Japanese Gelanots membrane, with 100% taping at all seams, keeps you dry whether you're exposed to rain, wind, or sweating during a strenuous climb. The pants can be unzipped all the way down, and feature two-way open YKK Waterproof zippers - meaning they have two opposing sliders and can be fully unzipped at both the top and bottom. There are, of course, safety Velcro fasteners at both these points. The reinforcement of the exposed areas increases their resistance to abrasion. The pockets are also equipped with YKK Waterproof zippers. The braces are attached with Velcro fasteners so they can be easily removed.
