The perfect lightweight trekking companion, all year round, in all but the most extreme conditions. The Flycatcher is made from a new, high-performance TripleRip nylon with an innovative construction that combines two fabric weights - the most exposed areas to the ground are reinforced with a thicker, thicker fabric, while less exposed areas are made from a lighter fabric - providing excellent strength while maintaining a light weight. The inner tent is bonded to the canvas so the inner tent stays dry when erected.

The pole sleeves are on the outside and are colour coded for simplicity. They are wide enough to accommodate double poles (accessories) in exposed conditions. Large, high-positioned vents provide excellent airflow and all openings are covered with fine mesh that won't let even the smallest, barely visible insects through. The vents in the raincoat can be opened or completely closed with the fabric of the raincoat.

The entrance is on the side, which means that the space can be put to good use. The inner tent is also spacious, with a clothesline and mesh pockets that are useful when you want to keep track of your gear. Like all Fjällräven tents, the Abisko Shape 2 tent is made completely free of PVC plastic and toxic flame retardants, and its impregnation is free of fluorocarbon.

1. In warm conditions, the door can be rolled up and zipped in the semi-open position - the zipper has an auto-lock feature so the wind can't force it to "creep" - for additional air circulation without rain getting into the inner tent.
