2Tap S by Rock Empire is a carabiner with a screw lock and locking bar that prevents the carabiner from twisting in the belay eye of the seat or shield, ensuring proper loading of the carabiner and contributing to greater safety. The carabiner is certfied for sport (EN12275) but also industrial (EN362) use.
HMS is the designation for carabiners shaped for securing over a half ship's knot (Halbmastwurfsicherung in German). Each carabiner has its own identification number within the production order. This number will improve record-keeping and control for metal products during regular inspection checks.
The screw lock ensures efficient locking of the carabiner. The K-Lock latch does not catch anywhere and is easy to click in and out of the lock. It has no sharp edges that could damage the rope or loop.
