The 2Tap 2T from Rock Empire is a twist-lock locking carabiner (2T) that allows for automatic locking and quick release. Two independent movements are required to open the carabiner. The locking rung prevents the carabiner from twisting in the belay eye of the seat or in the shackle, ensuring the carabiner is properly loaded and contributing to greater safety. Each carabiner has its own identification number within the manufacturing order. This number will improve record keeping and control for metal products during periodic inspection.
The K-Lock latch does not snag anywhere and is easy to click in and out of the restraint. It has no sharp edges that could damage the rope or loop.
