FENIX RC09 - Rechargeable LED flashlight

The Fenix RC09 is a high-performance rechargeable pocket flashlight that offers up to 550 lumens (ANSI) of light and a range of up to 115 meters. It is powered by a single RCR123A rechargeable battery which is recharged directly in the flashlight via a USB cable with a special magnetic connector, alternatively a disposable CR123A lithium battery can be used for power. The end of the flashlight is also magnetic, so it can be easily attached to anything metal.

The flashlight has five different lighting modes, allowing you to choose between high power and long life (up to 56 hours). The flashlight is powered by a digitally controlled constant current to guarantee a constant light output even when the battery voltage is reduced (when the batteries are slowly discharging).

The Fenix RC09 is destined by its features to serve as an ideal little reliable companion that is always at hand. All flashlight parameters (lumen output, battery life, waterproof, range and shockproof) are measured in accordance with ANSI/NEMA FL 1-2009.

Use
There may be a black insulating cap inside the flashlight on the battery pack at the factory. Remove it from the battery pack before first use. Hold the button for half a second to turn on and off. Additional button presses can be used to switch between power modes at any time during operation. To switch to strobe mode, hold the side button for approximately 1 second. To lock the flashlight against accidental lighting: press the button twice in quick succession, the flashlight will then flash twice. Another quick double-click unlocks the flashlight and turns it back on to the previously selected light mode.

Charging
Plug the charging cable into the USB connector of your computer, USB mains adapter or car. When the cable is connected, the indicator light on the cable will turn green. Attach the cable to the charging plate on the flashlight, it will attach itself with magnets. The indicator light on the cable flashes green while charging, and stays green when charging is complete. Estimated charging time is about 1.5 hours. Low battery warning (functional only with RCR123A) - the flashlight will gradually switch automatically to the lowest mode and flash 3 times every 5 minutes.

Warning
Do not disassemble the sealed part in the head of the flashlight by yourself, it will violate the warranty. If using a disposable CR123A battery, do not attempt to charge it in the flashlight. If the protective rubber rings appear damaged after prolonged use, replace them. The rings should also be lubricated to prevent erosion of the rubber. By following these rules, the flashlight will be properly protected against water. If the flashlight flickers, does not switch to higher power modes, or does not light up, it may be due to one of the following reasons: the battery is almost dead - charge it or replace it. The contacts inside the flashlight are dirty - clean them with a cotton swab dipped in alcohol. The back of the flashlight is loose - tighten it.
