We've created this synthetic insulated hooded jacket for year-round mountain action, from climbing and biking to skiing and mountaineering.The Xenon 2.0 is insulated with PrimaLoft® Silver quick-drying insulation, a lightweight, packable and waterproof insulation made from 100% recycled plastic bottle chips. The ultra-fine fibres, finer than cashmere, make it a high loft, lower impact insulation alternative. Ideal for tackling challenging terrain, the jacket uses a weatherproof Pertex® Quantum ripstop outer material that has a fluorocarbon-free DWR finish. The lining is also made from recycled Atmos™ fabric, making the new Xenon 2.0 a premium choice for sustainability. The jacket features chevron-shaped stitching on the torso for increased breathability and a blown-in waterproof insulation film over the shoulders for better weather protection.It has two hidden hand pockets and an internal security pocket that doubles as a stuff sack, creating a low-volume pack for stowing in a backpack.

The RAB story began in 1981 in the attic of a small terraced house in Sheffield, where Rab Carrington made the first sleeping bag to bear his name. Rab's experience from his years in the mountains was evident in his designs, which he hand-stitched and devised with his own genius eye, and were soon in demand from both friends and the growing local mountaineering community.
But it didn't end there. Soon the word got out and the Sheffield loft became a factory floor, producing sleeping bags and jackets for customers far and wide. Now, decades later, these honest and durable models can be found all over the world; wherever adventurers venture out to meet the elements.
