Like all Sea to Summit synthetic mummy sleeping bags, the Trailhead uses WaveLoft construction, which allows the insulation to stretch into air-trapping arcs for maximum warmth.

As the temperature rises, the full-length zipper (which wraps around through the footbox) gradually increases ventilation to the point where the mummy sleeping bag can be opened flat and used as a blanket. The Trailhead sleeping bag's striped rectangular mummy cut gives you plenty of room to move around regardless of sleeping position.

The full-length YKK® #5 side zipper extends over the zipper in the leg area for better ventilation and allows the bag to be used as a blanket. The high quality nylon material with a DWR finish then helps repel external moisture.
