Our Torque VR softshell pants are designed to suit the mixed activities and weather conditions of winter mountaineering.
The Vapour-Rise™ polyester lining features zoned VR Warm and VR Wicking fabrics to optimize moisture transfer in high sweat areas. The dual Matrix™ polyamide fabric with integrated elastane also provides exceptional flexibility for complete freedom of stretch.
The outer provides ample breathability for strenuous climbs and a DWR finish for enhanced weather resistance. In addition to reinforced knee and ankle patches, there are expanding ankle gussets with YKK® zippers for big boots, as well as zippered thigh vents for easy temperature regulation.
The tough, warm and breathable Torque VR Pant comes with brace attachment points, four exterior zippered pockets and a harness-compatible reversible YKK® zipper.

The RAB story began in 1981 in the attic of a small terraced house in Sheffield, where Rab Carrington made the first sleeping bag to bear his name. Rab's experience from his years in the mountains was evident in his designs, which he hand-stitched and devised with his own genius eye, and were soon in demand from both friends and the growing local mountaineering community.
But it didn't end there. Soon the word got out and the Sheffield loft became a factory floor, producing sleeping bags and jackets for customers far and wide. Now, decades later, these honest and durable models can be found all over the world; wherever adventurers venture out to meet the elements.
