The Vibram tread outsole provides a comfortable off-road gait, with excellent traction on both soft terrain and hard ground. The lower-density, injected PU midsole better absorbs shock to reduce foot fatigue during strenuous and long hikes.

The design is based on the anatomy of the human foot. Garmont uses patented technology that respects the asymmetry of the human foot as much as possible. This means that the different parts of the shoe are cut and designed so that the shoe does not restrict the foot in movement, provides sufficient comfort and supports the foot in performance.
