The Rock model is not new in the offer of the Italian brand AKU. Already in 2010, the first models of the classic successors were presented to the world, which three years later saw further innovations. Since then, however, the Rock model has not been touched, until now.

Rock DFS is the first ever model to feature the so-called Dual Fit System - double lace lacing. While walking, you have the option of having only the regular laces tightened, which doesn't pull on your foot as much and gives you more room for your foot. While when you get into more technical passages, you can tighten the shoe once more to give you the best possible fit. You'll especially appreciate this on ferrata trails or anywhere else you need to keep your feet as tight as possible.

For maximum durability, all Rock DFS models feature a solid cleat around the entire circumference of the boot. The upper is made up of 1.6mm thick leather along with microfiber and AKU's own proprietary AIR 8000 fabric. This is up to 11 times more breathable than conventional materials and guarantees excellent thermoregulation in the shoe.

The waterproofing is provided by a waterproof Gore-Tex membrane in the Extended Comfort version. The midsole on this model is designed with dual-density EVA foam using polyurethane and IMS3 technology to absorb shock sensitively. This is complemented by Elica technology that distributes the weight of the body over the entire foot area, thus increasing your performance and saving your energy. The VIBRAM Approcciosa Megagrip outsole takes care of uncompromising traction on any terrain.

Basic Care:
Remove dirt from the upper material (leather, Air 8000) using a soft brush and damp cloth. Allow to dry slowly at room temperature, do not expose to intense heat sources during drying. Avoid drying near a fire, in an oven, etc.
