New WTB - SG2 tire protection
In addition to its light weight, the SG2 tire protection provides excellent puncture and puncture protection. This new protection is lightweight and features an ultra-thin nylon liner that covers the entire tire surface from bead to bead. So you can hit any surface without worrying about punctures.
How much more durable are the new tires with SG2? Lab tests show that adding SG2 protection provides 33% better sidewall protection and 17% better tread protection than standard 60 TPI tires without SG2. That's why WTB has come up with durable tires that will hold up on any surface.
