Featuring zonal baffles, an active fit and an extended hem, the new recycled Women's Microlight Alpine Long Jacket is at home wherever you choose to take it.The Women's Microlight Alpine Long Jacket is made to function as an everyday outer layer and mountain mid-layer. It features zoned micro and nano baffles for enhanced core warmth without restricting weight or bulk. It's made from recycled 30D Pertex® Quantum ripstop nylon with GRS 700FP certified hydrophobic down and also has a number of practical outdoor features. These include a large zippered chest pocket and a pair of zippered lower hand pockets that are raised above the waist to keep them from getting tangled in the climbing harness. There's also a storm flap, a drawcord hem, elasticated cuffs to fit gloves and an insulated hood with a reinforced visor for warmth and protection in changeable conditions.With fully recycled fabrics and down, reworked styling and optimised down distribution, the women's Microlight Alpine Long Jacket is a smart update to a best-selling classic.

The RAB story began in 1981 in the attic of a small terraced house in Sheffield, where Rab Carrington made the first sleeping bag to bear his name. Rab's experience from his years in the mountains was evident in his designs, which he hand-stitched and devised with his own genius eye, and were soon in demand from both friends and the growing local mountaineering community.
But it didn't end there. Soon the word got out and the Sheffield loft became a factory floor, producing sleeping bags and jackets for customers far and wide. Now, decades later, these honest and durable models can be found all over the world; wherever adventurers venture out to meet the elements.
