  • There are days when the sky is not going to lay its cards ostentatiously on the table. It's hard to tell what's coming at you. When conditions are constantly changing - showers alternate with clear skies and temperatures fluctuate - these Rab Kinetic Alpine 2.0 pants will serve you well. The Proflex™ material is actually a kind of softshell with hardshell properties - the combination of knit and membrane makes it soft and stretchy, while boasting a respectable 20,000mm water column. When climbing or ski touring, nylon reinforcements come into their own to protect particularly exposed areas. The integrated belt drawcord is offset slightly to the right of the centre so it doesn't get in the way when handling the climbing harness.

  • The RAB story began in 1981 in the attic of a small terraced house in Sheffield, where Rab Carrington made the first sleeping bag to bear his name. Rab's experience from his years in the mountains was evident in his designs, which he hand-stitched and devised with his own genius eye, and were soon in demand from both friends and the growing local mountaineering community.

But it didn't end there. Soon the word got out and the Sheffield loft became a factory floor, producing sleeping bags and jackets for customers far and wide. Now, decades later, these honest and durable models can be found all over the world; wherever adventurers venture out to meet the elements. From Himalayan peaks to cool, breezy evenings around a campfire.
