The Nomad 7 Plus brain is hidden right inside this power strip. Several key components work together to ensure you have the best solar charging experience. One of these components is the Solar Intensity Indicator. 4 blue LED lights show the status of the current solar conditions, giving you an idea of how well your equipment will charge.

Use
Once you connect your device to the Nomad 7 Plus, the lights will flash in accordance with how fast it is charging. Think the sun conditions are good and you still don't see all the blue lights on? Try moving the Nomad 7 Plus more towards the sun and watch how the number of lights and the blinking speed change (the faster the indicator blinks, the faster the device will charge). The best scenario for charging cell phones and other USB devices is 3 or more lights on.

Auto RESTART Feature
The Nomad 7 Plus has an auto restart feature that makes it one of the "smartest" solar panels on the market. With the ability to track charging history, the Nomad 7 Plus knows the difference between a device that has reached a fully charged state and one that has disconnected from charging due to a drop in panel performance ( due to environmental causes, i.e. lack of sunlight, shade, solar eclipse, etc.). If a disconnect is detected due to a drop in panel power, the Nomad 7 Plus will automatically reconnect and start charging the device, no further manipulation on your part is required.

Stand
The Nomad 7 Plus features a detachable (magnetic connection) stand, allowing you to reduce the weight of the device if you need to. If you leave it on the panel and unfold it, it forms a limb angle for positioning to the sun. It also provides natural shade for the devices you will be charging from the panel.
