The Kilpi ALPIN-U membrane changing trousers are a must-have in your mountain gear. They are made of ultra-lightweight SIBERIUM membrane material and thanks to taped seams and waterproof zippers, the pants are reliably wind and rain resistant. The biggest advantage is the full side zippers, which make the pants easy to put on even over snowshoes.
You can keep the trousers handy in your backpack at any time, as they pack easily into a bag and their total weight is approximately 300g. The looser fit is great thanks to the adjustable Velcro waistband and elasticated hem to keep the leg on.
