Moab in a new coat. A shoe popular for its comfort and versatile use. Durable synthetic leather upper with Gore-Tex membrane, supportive midsole and Vibram outsole with great traction are the features that make the Moab a staple in every shoe closet.

Gore-Tex membrane keeps feet dry and comfortable and increases breathability for all cold weather activities. Merrell M-Select FIT.ECO combines with a molded EVA footbed for added support in the arch and heel area.

Nylon arch support provides natural foot flex and added stability. Merrell Air Cushion cushioning in the heel then provides increased shock absorption and stability. There's also a Vibram TC5+ outsole that provides excellent grip and traction on varied terrain.

GORE-TEX
The GORE-TEX® membrane has been used in hiking boots for more than 20 years.This membrane with a billion microscopic pores per square centimetre is the best guarantee for waterproof yet highly breathable footwear. But MERRELL wants even more. Only the best is good enough for him! That's why he and Gore-Tex started working closely together to develop different types of membranes designed specifically for MERRELL's individual ranges. The result is revolutionary. The membrane is now perfectly adapted to the type of footwear. A lightweight shoe designed for sporting activities is not unduly burdened by the membrane, and is maximally breathable and flexible. Vibram
We proudly equip almost all of our sports and hiking boots with Vibram soles. And there are two reasons for this. First, no company makes better samples that are stable in all conditions. The tread lugs are not under the foot arch, so the foot can move naturally. Second, Vibram has created two great rubber compounds - the Trek and the TC5+. These provide excellent traction on both wet and dry surfaces, even in the most extreme temperatures.
