    Nubuck leather
    Is leather sanded along the cheek. A sub-category is so-called "writing nubuck", which leaves marks on the cheek that can be removed by further rubbing or re-brushing, even after very gentle contact with fingers or other objects. This is a very pleasant and high-quality leather to the touch.
    GORE-TEX®
    This is an extremely light and thin Teflon membrane that is waterproof and breathable, yet windproof. The material itself is water repellent. Windproofness is achieved thanks to the labyrinth structure of the membrane, which is an insurmountable barrier to wind.
