This women's winter boot is made of waterproof nubuck, polyurethane-coated leather and a neoprene upper with a waterproof membrane. A waterproof but breathable barrier against the elements. With over 400 grams of thermal insulation on the toe and tongue and 200 grams on the back of the boot, PrimaLoft® Eco™ DualZone™ insulation provides warmth where it's needed most. Fleece lining and a thermo-insulating ActiveHeat™ insole add extra warmth to women's feet.

The women-specific Q-Form ® Comfort midsole provides support for women's feet, while Air Cushion cushioning in the heel absorbs shock and adds stability.

The grippy rubber outsole of the Merrell Arctic Fox women's waterproof, winter boot delivers reliable traction on a variety of terrain types such as ice and wet, slippery surfaces.

The Air Cushion® system compresses at heel impact and absorbing impact energy equivalent to up to four times the body weight, this system is unrivalled in terms of comfort and support. In addition, Air Cushion® forms a distinctive heel cup that keeps the heel centered in the shoe and helps stabilize the foot. Q-Form® helps maintain a neutral footprint and corrects the above mentioned deficiencies. It provides women with comfort and also reduces the wear rate of the shoe.

Q-Form® is an injection molded midsole with three separate strength levels. Combined with a patented air cushioning system, the system changes a woman's stride toward a smoother, more balanced process leading to increased comfort and stability and extending the life of the shoe.
