Mammut's Glacier Cord is an aid rope that has been specially developed for all needs not only of ski mountaineers, alpine hikers and climbers. The aid rope is very thin and light, but thanks to the Aramid material very strong. It can be used for belaying a team on a glacier hike or as an auxiliary rope on a ferrata.
Ideally use a Nano 8 axle or other suitable aid that will create sufficient friction. The Glacier Cord is not to be confused with a dynamic climbing rope!
