    What does MIPS technology mean?
The helmet consists of an EPS foam shell, a MIPS glide liner and an elastomer. This allows for slight movement of the shell relative to the MIPS liner. So if the helmet is hit at an angle, this slight sliding motion effectively reduces the amount of rotational forces that would otherwise be transferred to your brain. Tests of climbing and cycling helmets have shown increased head protection when using MIPS technology.
